It is corny and silly, but I love it. And Kirstie still looked terrific in this one! Madcap comedy worth watching on a rainy afternoon.

Great comedy, filled with hilarious tidbits. Fantastic movie from the early 90's.

I say this movie was below average that had such lame story and plot. Here acting wasn't great also characters were uninteresting to watch. Disappointing lookin film.

Along the same lines of Christmas Vacation, this movie is about a married couple who just buys a new home and before they know it, it's over run with unwanted house guests. There are some humorous moments but over all the writing is pretty weak. Kirstie Alley and John Larroquet...( read more)te do an adequet job, but it's the supporting cast that is dreadful and a little too obnoxious to be believable. The potential to make a great comedy was there but it just fell short. One of those movies that you watch when there's nothing else on and you want to be mildly entertained.

It's 2009 and still no DVD release is in sight and that' s too bad because this is one funny movie that really deserves to be on DVD. If you've ever experienced house guests who over stay their welcome and try your patience to the limit, this movie is for you. Even if you haven't this movie will make you laugh until you cry.
So to the movie studio (MGM, TCM, SONY)?, who own the rights to this fine film, stick a crowbar in your wallet and expend some funds in order to release this movie.
You will receive lots of good Karma for your efforts!
