This is actually a really interesting idea for a movie, i would love to see quicksilver, or scarlet witch in the movie like they are in the comics. I also heard that magneto and xavier are gonna fight a villain, i hope its gonna be Mr. Sinister.
A look at the early life of Eric Lensherr and his friendship with Charles Xavier, and how the one-time allies became mortal enemies.

February 17, 2009Should be a good movie. As every one that has ever read all the comics knows Magneto has a very in-depth back story, not just the mere flashes shown in the first movie of the nazi camp, that was nothing. Only time will tell how this one turns out but I for one would prefer to see this over the Wolverine movie they are coming out with. It could be argued that we have seen all we need of Wolverine's back story from he 3 X-Men movies, but once again, the comics say otherwise :)

August 9, 2008this is an answer for jim222001us ... just let you know, X-Men 3 did not end bad, i guess by your comment, you've haven't seen the twist that was shown after the finishing credits.. which alot of people haven't seen.. anyways i believe you would had a different opinion just by that twist.

July 26, 2008Ian McKellen is only 5 years older than Rutger Hauer... and Hauer is a C grade actor (at best). Besides the Magneto character will be played by someone young... it is after all a prequel. McKellen will narrate and be in flash forward parts only... lets not guess if it will be any good... they haven't even begun filming yet.

February 5, 2008Personally, I think Ian McKellan is to old. Rutger Hauer is, and was from the beginning, a far better choice to play Magneto! If they stay with Ian McKellan, ok, but if not & if they go with anyone other than Rutger Hauer then this movie will likely suck ass.
