Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"This harmless nickels-and-kopecks comedy goes by the theory that if one Mafia is funny, two must be hilarious."
‑ Bob Campbell, Minneapolis Star Tribune
"The hapless goodfella-in- training is as unsuccessful at fulfilling his uncle's wishes as the star and co-director, Robert Capelli Jr., is at delivering punchlines."
‑ Nat Johnson, Village Voice
"It took a committee of directors and scriptwriters to assemble this oafish farce, brimming with creaky jokes, frenzied overacting and 'madcap' moments such as an ineptly staged pie-in- the-face bar brawl."
‑ Megan Lehmann, New York Post
"A caustic commentary on how men handle love."
‑ Oz, eFilmCritic.com
"If Mail Order Bride, a strained, incoherent farce, accomplishes anything positive, it will be to drive another nail into the coffin of that exhausted subgenre, the mob comedy."
‑ Stephen Holden, New York Times
"This amateurish comedy features some amazing sequences shot in Moscow. But everything else about it is second rate."
‑ Maitland McDonagh, TV Guide's Movie Guide
