Making of a Modern Mystic
This film presents a biographical sketch of novelist Andrew Harvey. It traces the author's spiritual journey from his childhood in India to his appointment as the youngest person to become a Fellow of All Souls at Oxford. The film contains interviews with the Dalai Llama, biologist Rupert Sheldrake and analyst Anne Baring, as well as with Harvey himself. There is a discussion of Harvey's first book, A Journey in Ladakh, which chronicles his quest for inner knowledge under the tutelage of his Tibetan teacher. ~ Rose of Sharon Winter, Rovi
