This is a look at the life of talented pop star Mandy Moore (born Amanda Leigh Moore. It's a story of the teen pop diva, from her early childhood in New Hampshire to her early teen years in Orlando, FL. Mandy learned her love for singing early in life by enrolling in a summer musical theater camp when she was nine. In Orlando she became known as the "National Anthem Girl," because she would sing the "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the major sporting events in that city. She later became a voice-over talent for national commercials and television pilots. It was her work with the television pilots that earned her a break into the recording industry, leading to the platinum-selling debut album So Real and her follow-up album I Wanna Be With You. The video contains interviews and commentaries from Mandy Moore and her family and associates. ~ Forrest Spencer, Rovi
