As turmoil raged in Punjab, an Army officer and a local village girl somehow managed to find love amidst the chaos of war. Later married under dramatic circumstances, the loving couple soon set about building a family. Though the woman would sadly die during childbirth, her baby girl emerged healthy and strong. When another woman desperate to bear children kidnapped the young girl and the missing child's grieving father was subsequently sentenced to life and prison, it appeared as if all hope was lost for the tragic family. Soon after completing his sentence, however, the determined father refuses to bend to the cruel hand fate has dealt him and sets out on a desperate quest to reunite with his long-lost daughter and tell her the truth about her remarkable past. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
