SUCKS!!! I really don't have much to say about it, boring storyline and cheap film.

The plot had potential, but the special effects were very poorly done. It would have been better if we had never seen the Manticore -- just shadows or a claw here and there. The acting, though, was a pleasant surprise. Robert Beltran and Jeff Fahey turned in ...( read more)good, solid performances. However, this movie has a few well shot scenes, and the level of action rarely lags.

Not really one of the Best Moster Movies, combined with Military, "Mystery" abit Corps here and there. Not anything special. But I loved to see Jeff Fahey and Robert Beltran in one Movi. Cool.
However if you dont find anything better to watch this is great Killing time Movie.

First off the all important question is which D list celebrities have been dredged up this time? Well we've got Robert Beltran AKA Chakotay from Voyager, and Heather Donahue from The Blair Witch Project. The complex plot this time is set in the U.S. occupied Iraq where we've go...( read more)t some nutter who decides to use a magic amulet (not another one) to bring back to life a manticore that goes on a killing spree (why can't these resurrected creatures ever be nice?). Both the locals and U.S. troops end up on the menu as another cheap CGI creation goes on the rampage. At times the manticore doesn't look too bad on the fast paced shots, but when it comes to the close-ups. I'd rather have had someone menacing the actors with a sock puppet. Some interesting deaths are served up including someone being hacked by the flying rotor from a helicopter crash which is basically a straight rip-off, sorry homage to Aliens from the point at which the drop-ship takes with an alien on-board to it's crashing almost into the soldiers.
