This seems so silly now, but I thought it was great when it came out. I was 8. So I imagine that my 8 year old would love it.

Though it was very far fetched to see this on the big screen. Its funny and action packed for the 80's nuts and geeks and geekets to watch He-Man. :D

As a kid, I loved He-Man and "Masters Of The Universe", I watched the cartoon, read the comics and had tons of action figures. Lucky enough I never saw this live action movie, as it could have ruined the He-Man I knew. In the movie the evil Skeletor (Frank Langella) is out to get new powers by using a mysterious key invented by Gwildor (Billy Barty), but He-Man (Dolph Lundgren) gets the key and travels to earth through a portal by mistake. Let me start off by saying this movie could have been a lot worse, I really think they did the best they could with the budget and special effects they had back then. The storyline is ok, even if the whole 'they are on earth' thing is pretty lame. Dolph Lundgren has the body and look of He-man, but lets face it, the man can't act, Skeletors make-up is just awful and the end battle is a joke. But I was more entertained than bored with this so it has to count for something... Looking forward to the upcoming reboot remake.

cheesy movie, but watchable, to an extent...lol I have to say that if a movie can be remade now and be much better, this is the one, not that you'd want to, but if you did, hehe this is one of them...lol

I used to love the animated series of He-Man and its been a while since i last saw this movie, i remember it being cheesy fun. Having watched this again i stiull think its cheesy but it now stinks like big time cheese. The acting is terrible the action embarassing, i am let down by what they made with such a good idea.

Ok I admit this isn't the best of movies but hell it was fun. I loved He-Man as a kid. At one time, Skeletor was even the most evil guy on Earth for me.

Most of us grew up with He-man and She-ra. All-in-all this movie was pretty good. The story was pretty well written, and actors/actresses stayed in character very well. BUT, it is one of those you just can't see too often.

Another movie released by the same people who put an 18 year end to Superman's on screen career.

This one was nothing like the cartoons it is based on because Cannon never had the budget and were financing about 7 movies at once. But it was still a good movie in it's own right.

Features a great score by Bill Conti as well as early screen appearances by Courteney Cox (Friends) and Robert Duncan McNeill (Star Trek Voyager).

More faithfull to it's source material than Transformers live action movie.

    And somewhat ironicly, better writen.

Now you'll probably go "Well if it's better written, then why did it bombed?"

    Well 3 reasons:
    1. Low budget.
    2. No huge explosions.
    3. No tits.

I loved the animated series, but the movie was done in a way that it was mocking its own mythos. I hope one day someone will do a good movie about Masters of the Universe and He-Man.

Come on. Come on! If you were a fan of He-Man than you had to see this and you had to love it. It's not a great movie, it's not even a good movie, but it's awesome in that way that movies just aren't anymore. Dolph Lundgren looks more like He-Man than He-man did. And Courtney Cox with the terrible eighties hair and even worse acting. Come on.

OMG, I Forgot all about this movie. I don't care what you have to say, this is just a great movie for the family. Comedic and set in the real world... Ok well part of it is in the real world. The Heroes must find the key to the Universe before the evil Skeletor can hunt it down and take control. You have to see this movie, if for nothing else, do it for the kids.

Underrated fun, Langella is outstanding, playing Skeletor with Shakespearian style worthy of Larry Olivier! Meg Foster as EvilLynn, pre Star Treck Robt.Macneill and Pre Friends Cox...
