    This film drags without reaching any real conclusion. The relationships are unconvincing and the acting questionable. Michelle Williams is quite good but Anna Friel is quite annoying, although I guess her character is supposed to be to a point. 20 or so years pass within seconds ...( read more)without so much as a haircut, so it?s also a little confusing at times. Not a total waste of time but not great either.

    An intense film about friendship. The performances are great by both Anna Friel as the controlling Marina and by Michelle Williams as her mistreated friend Holly (although that English accent slipped a few times).
    I loved how the film moves through the decades (we are treated t...( read more)o a great soundtrack and a nostalgic look at the 70s/80s.) It could of done without the final scene though.

    Honest, beautifully filmed and with a splendid soundtrack to boot, it definitely nails the whole close-girly-mates-of-destruction thing, as well as being a fun way to harken back to the last few decades with constant (and rather accurate) reminders through music, fashion and arch...( read more)itecture. I loved this and the performances are heart-breakingly good :)
