A great comedy film, Ben Stiller is perfectly cast as Gaylord Focker, and so is De Niro, who did not overreact to achieve comedic effect, but he just acted naturally and successfully portrayed the character perfectly. Owen Wilson is great in a bit part, and the ending really echoes the sequel that is "Meet the Fockers". A bit painful to watch at times, especially to those who can relate to Stiller's character.

Meet The Fockers is one of the most classic and funny comedy's of it's time and will remain so through out time. The movie does genious by taking a simple common problem of every person , "Parent In-Laws" , and knocking it to the extreme in a movie where a man is forced in more then a few awkward moments with his hopeful future wife's parents.

The over all outcome was a tad predticable but other then that the entire flim remained pretty solid.

HILARIOUS! Sometimes Ben Stiller can be over the top ( thats what I like about him) but this movie was just right. I also didn't know how funny Robert DeNiro could be. He was still scary in this movie, but with a dad-like quality. I loved this movie.

This Ben Stiller flick is pure comedy genius! This could almost be a sequel to "There's Something About Mary".
Poor guy. After winning the girl and buying the ring, he finds out he's only half-way there--- if that.
Winning his girlfriend's father's aproval is like running some kind of psychotic obstacle course blindfolded and hog-tied! Robert DeNiro makes a perfectly horrifying potential future father-in-law. Before they've been at his house five minutes you feel really, really bad for Ben Stiller's character.
The only problem is, I can't see what he's supposed to be attracted to in his girlfriend. She's rather big and mannish looking, immature, spoiled, dim-witted and completely oblivious to his plight. (Of course, a large part of that is just poor casting for her role. Reese Witherspoon would have been a much more suitable choice.)

An excellent comedy about every man's worst nightmare: meeting his father-in-law. Ben and Bob have a hilarious relationship here. I love the pot scenario and Owen's cameo. So funny.

I've seen it twice and I still can't understand how an incredible actor like De Niro could be convinced to star in this horrible movie...

I made it to the puff the magic dragon part and ejected the disc at a friends house. I was actually invited over to a house I've never been before. I was thoroughly convinced I stood up for humanity at that point in my life

    Good movie...
Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) is a male nurse, poised to propose to the woman he loves, Pam (Teri Polo) but the right thing to do would be to ask her father's permission first. During a weekend of getting to know them, he manages to make a strong impression; for all the wrong reasons. Her father (Robert De Niro) isn't quite what Greg has been led to believe, and right from the start he seems to have it in for his daughter's partner.
De Niro and Stiller play off each other brilliantly, and both of them give fine comic performances, with a surprising level of depth for comedy characters. This film is packed with slick gags, hilarious scenes and it has a really fun story; it's a comedy film that you don't want to miss.
    I like it very much.

A "no brain" movie with very funny moments. Robert De Niro shows he can do decent comedies as well in this one. One I can watch more than once and still enjoy it.

Just take 2 minutes and read this. This is very EASY to do! It literally takes 10 minutes to setup. Simply follow the steps below. I promise you, this is 100% real. I wouldn't jeopardize my EBay account status if this was a scam. My feedback is real and I will answer you on any question! Here is what you do. Click on the link below, register, pick an account type (referral is the easiest) and complete just 1 offer (Very important that you complete the 1 offer otherwise your account will sit in limbo until you do). This is not like other sites where you need to complete one offer on 2 or 3 different pages!!! And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with nothing else to buy...No commitments!!!

There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not use them to get a free PS3 System or cash (I did the Stamps.com for a 30 day free trial and it never cost me a penny and I received credit for it the same day). Look at the offers and choose the one that works for you. After signing up and completing your one offer, simply refer 8-13 people (depending on the FREE prize you choose) to do the same under your link (just post the same thing as I have on eBay, and you'll get your referrals before the auction even ends.)

Then they will ship your Free gift or your selected item for free; No Joke, 100% REAL!!! The reason these companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all the referrals. All you have to do is post it on EBAY! They use us as advertisement by word of mouth which saves them tons of money which goes toward yours and my free gift. These are legit companies such as Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly etc... You can copy my listing if you want. You must use your own authentic link though. You will get your own personal link after your orders placed.

Meet the parents is a dread full movie! one of the most hated movie i ever see in my life.

What make me hate it is basically the idea of Focker not suited into De niro family!

Do you have to try THAT hard, to married someone's daughter? funny? OMG!

I agreed, some scenes are hilarious, but overall its cheap! it's not rational (i know its a comedy!!), it's annoying and last De niro's acting, what a horrible thing!
he tries 'too' hard for comedy, no doubt De niro is one of Hollywood best actor, but for comedy? awful!

Ben stiller, steal the show. he get my biggest SYMPATHY! i think the most pitiful character of all times! he just wanna married your daughter for God sake!

    4/10.

Hated both of these movies. It was slapstick, and it made me mad. I felt bad for him through the entire movie. Not funny.
