Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Sophisticated auds will enjoy this thoroughly modern spoof on masculine fixations, played out in frank, realistic dialogue."
‑ Deborah Young, Variety
"A wonderfully offbeat comic allegory that maintains the sharpness of Kiarostami's humanist observations... the film reads persuasively as a satire of masculine idiocy."
‑ Aaron Hillis, Premiere Magazine
"A somewhat slight film but an enjoyable and sympathetic one."
‑ Michael Wilmington, Chicago Tribune
"How many Iranian skiers does it take to tear down a mountain?"
‑ Ron Wilkinson, Monsters and Critics
"Although steeped in allegory, political or otherwise, the film is perfectly enjoyable, and quite hilarious, in its literal sense."
‑ Christopher Campbell, Cinematical
