The second part about the notorious gangster Jacque Mesrine (Vincent Cassel).
Again great cast among others Ludivine Sagnier as Sylvie Jeanjacquot and Mattieu Amalric as Francois Besse.

Gripping from start to finish. Brilliant performances and some fantastic haircuts. Who says the French are shite?
I thought this was absolutely fantastic and, in my opinion, even better than part 1. Even though it was just as dark, it didn't seem that way as there was more wit, more humour. And I believe that knowing what was going to happen at the end didn't take any of the tension away, in...( read more)
I liked it - maybe not quite as gripping as the first part but still enjoyed it - might have been spoiled slightly by knowing how everything turned out in the end.

the 2nd part to mesrines crime spree, focusing on last years before hes brutally murdered, hereshowing his times injail, escaping, and getting more celebrity, which becomes his downfall, again caselisbrilliant to watch, and the film runs along nicely
