    This is one of those typical tear-jerker movies, perfect for an evening with a glass of wine and the right partner..... did something wrong there as I didn't have either! Still the tear ducts need to be washed out every now and then.
    A lot of the storyline is predictable but it...( read more) is done so beautifully that you can easily overlook that.

    Not as good as I hoped it would be. For this Nicholas Sparks book-turned-movie, I actually read the book first. Sometimes, when I read the book first, I don't really like the movie. Sometiems, when I watch the movie first, I don't really like the book. This was the former case, u...( read more)nfortunately. I loved Robin Wright Penn's character and Robbie Coltrane's (go Hagrid!) character, but Kevin Costner just looked old and his character annoyed the heck out of me. There was a lot of differences between this and the book, actually a lot more than I was expecting. I didn't even really like the book all that much to begin with. It suprises me because I love all of Nicholas Sparks other books-turned-movies, but this one...nope. Oh well.
