September 14, 2008Ok I'm a pure die hard Metallica fan, I have all their albums. from what I found to be a disappointing last album which was St. Anger I was praying that Death magnetic would not tread the same boards. Did my wishes come true? DID THEY EVER! Thank god and of course Rick Rubin for giving the boys their sound back. They totally lost it with St. Anger but I'm really overjoyed to say that they are back with a vengence. The songs are pure rock/metal gold. Unlike St. Anger where I only took a shine to a couple of the songs, I loved the entire album of Death magnetic. Was it worth the wait? YOU BET IT WAS!
Every thing, every instrument, every solo, every melody is exactly the way it should be and expect from a Metallica album. The songs will keep fans of the xbox 360 racing to victory while Metallica is playing in the background. Also End of the line is perfect to play while playing a shoot'em up.
The only thing that i didn't like about the Digipack was that they made the cover a sort of 3d effect. Right at the back cover you have the white/silver coffin and the rest of the pages are cut out to symbolise the layers of dirt surrounding it, which means that the holes blank out HALF OF THE WORDS ON EACH PAGE! Other than that the album is definately one of those top purchases for any Metallica fan and metal fan. Once again the boys do give you the buyer value for money like they did with Master and Justice. All songs are nearly 8 minutes in length except for Suicide which is almost 10 minutes long.

May 15, 2008This was an exceptionally bold move on Metallica's part, after the napster debacle allowing this to be released without any say so from them on the final cut is just worthy of so much respect and if they lost any fans over it, then they weren't fans to begin with.

November 28, 2006METALLICA!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCK YEAH!!!! Out of all rock bands I've liked listening to all of my life METALLICA FUCKIN' RULES!!!! If any hot looking girl sees me driving down the streets and sees me smiling from ear to ear and my stereo cranked up full blast and hears songs like "Enter Sandman", "One", "Master Of Puppets", "Sad But True", "Until It Sleeps", etc. you can bet I am in a good mood!
