The arcade game was good for sure. -

More self promotion rather than a movie is its downfall. The first half is just a ego driven rehash of the music he had done up to that point. Which if you are a fan you already know anyway. The actual movie section kicks in halfway through. Obviously this was more an extravegent video clip for Michael's song Smooth Criminal rather than written as a proper movie. Someone must have thought hey lets release the clip in the cinemas. By not being a full 90min they filled it out with the above mentioned history section. Although despite the crappy dialogue what saves this is the music and dancing of the Smooth Criminal section. The cinematography and effects are top notch. Along with the Speed Demon animation and the funny Badder clip in the history section makes it worth watching. Has alot of faults but one thing you cant deny is the talent of Michael Jackson in music and dance. Just leave the acting to other people MJ.

MCT:August 21, 2007i love michael jackson..i believe he's the greatest musician for along long time.his music is universal and his dance skills and imagination are stunning.almost all his music videos fr the 80's are classics and this film/music video is a legendary collection of the best with a dodgy story line lol.smooth criminal is the best...the look and moves are breath taking.also..jacksons ideas are blueprints for alot of future films,there are some great concepts here and nice touches.jacksons music n moves still kicks all modern day musicians arses.untouchable.

MCT:August 9, 2007Supremely creepy and homo erotic... however, we do get to see the following: A) the extended video for the song "Smooth Criminal" B) Joe Pesci beat some little kid like it's Christmas at K-Mart and C) Michael Jackson transform into some weird, half-assed and silly silver painted Gobot... and upon transforming, he then proceeds to laser beam an entire mountain. Seriously, I'm not making any of this up. I wish I were. But this movie is real. Very real.

Love this guy. Musically he cannot be touched and this is an amazing showcase of the life or an amazing person. Fantastic music, awe-inspiring performances and a chunk of childlike imagination makes the whole thing magical for me.

MCT:February 18, 2007As a collection of music videos, this is actually pretty good. As a movie, quite the opposite. The plot is just the ghost of an excuse to put everything together, and the acting is heinous.

My wee sister used to watch this ALL THE TIME when we were younger, I'd quite like to watch it from start to finish now, without her rewinding the tape to listen to the songs repeatedly :).
