This movie has a weak story, weak ending and not that great special effects. But if you have nothing better to do i guess it's allright.

It might be only a notch above a Sci-Fi movie but dammit I like this VERY loose adaption of 'Theseus and the Minotaur'.
It's a monster-on-the-loose film but with a unique setting and an over-the-top performance from genre fav Tony Todd.

i think they must have used all the budget on the animation and forgot about the rest of the film. sooooooo cheap, i just laughed at it all the way through.

a really cheesy straight to cable movie for sure. the minotaur was basically a demonic bull, not a minotaur as in folklore. and a woman supposedly gave birth to him. must have been a wild night on the cow pasture back then..lol. but basically just a waste of time to watch.

This movie had low budget feeling all the way but i have seen more worse ones so its a watchable flick despite that. Story is about the monster/beast "Minotaur" long time ago in the iron age used for sacrificing stolen youths.. Overall it could have been alot better and i recommend to search for other movies in the same genre first.

As Anglo-Luxembourg-German- French-Spanish-Italian-US co-productions go this is a pretty good film. The unfortunate thing about this film is that the story although supposedly based on the tale of Theseus and the Minotaur it doesn't follow the tale too closely. The minotaur is actually just a large misshapen bull and not half-human at all. On the subject of the minotaur though is that it is actually quite well done and is done mostly as an animatronic with a few CGI scenes all of which look good. The labyrinth that Theseus sorry Theo ends up in is little more than a few caves and there is no sign of his all important ball of string. The cast isn't too bad eiher with Rutger Hauer and Tony Todd in minor roles, Todd is actually good fun as the insane ram's skull sniffing villain. The only question that really remains is how many times do you see someone ride a giant bull and not fall off?

There were a couple of nice bloody deaths, but seriously... They could do a really good movie about the mythology of the minotaur, and not this steaming pile of crusty vomit. Don't waste your time...

Interesting version of the old myth, but a little... how to put it... er... It could have been better.
