Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"By focusing one frantic couple's attempts to salvage their future together it channels Cold War anxieties into something beautiful."
‑ Jeremy Heilman, MovieMartyr.com
"nightmareous"
‑ Stefan Birgir Stefansson, sbs.is
"A magnificent movie.....you'll never forget it...Anthony Edwards is amazing"
‑ Clint Morris, Film Threat
"A strikingly original, if relentlessly bleak, nuclear thriller."
‑ Rob Vaux, Flipside Movie Emporium
"Monograph for MIRACLE MILE now available."
‑ Walter Chaw, Film Freak Central
"Holy God, somebody showed me this depressing on my birthday long ago. I decided afterwards they didn't like me very much."
‑ Widgett Walls, Needcoffee.com
"ethereal and memorable"
‑ Rich Cline, Shadows on the Wall
"A low-key and unsettling look at one possible armageddon."
‑ Scott Weinberg, eFilmCritic.com
"Mile still packs a wallop, especially when everything goes to hell and our lovers are forced to confront their mortality. The gorgeous, unbearable feeling of doom that De Jarnatt evokes is, well, miraculous."
‑ Brian Orndorf, BrianOrndorf.com
"Ridiculous nuclear holocaust tale"
‑ Jon Niccum, Lawrence Journal-World
"Surprisingly good little film, if too bleak to be any fun."
‑ Ken Hanke, Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC)
"Undeservedly overlooked"
‑ Shane Burridge, rec.arts.movies.reviews
