Entertainment impossible. It made me very upset, and you've never seen me very upset! (Unless we went to go see Mission Impossible 1 together)

Well if you like Mr Woo then your in for a treat, the whole film is a slow motion action fest with every trade mark Woo can muster from his Eastern flick back catalog. The other half purely concentrates on Cruise's face and hair haha sure the film looks gorgeous and the action is...( read more) sweet but there is nothing more, the plot is as common as a chav and the acting is laughable. A perfect example of how Cruise has made the film he wants, as it focuses on nothing else really.

John Woo and those doves. I remember seeing this in theaters and thinking it was the coolest movie of all time. I was 13.

Ethan (Tom Cruise) is sent to Sydney to find and destroy a GM disease. Not as good as the first one. Tom needs a haircut!

John Woo makes the sequel of Mission Impossible - and it's an impressive film. John Woo is all about style and visuals and there's a lot of that in this film. There's a lot fancy action which blows you away with it's amazing look.

Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is sent to Sydney to f...( read more)ind and destroy a genetically modified disease called Chimera. With him are Nyah Nordoff-Hall (Thandie Newton), a master thief, Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames) and Billy Baird (John Polson). But there is someone else who wants the Chimera disease - Sean Ambrose (Dougray Scott). This is a decent plot. It's got that spy style to it. I didn't think much of the characters though. A lot of them were kinda uninteresting. The dialogue was good. There were lines that were funny and some were intriguing.

The visuals were the best part about this film. John Woo uses a lot of slow motion but he knows what looks good in slo-mo. He does use a lot doves, I'll tell you that. Sydney was a perfect place for this film to be set in - the locations were awesome. They picked a beautiful place to have an epic finale on - the beach. The action is awesome - and I loved the camera angles. Some of the stunts were pretty cool as well.

The acting was decent - but I didn't find anyone that special. Thandie Newton was actually decent in this - something she can't do in other films. Tom Cruise still does well with his Character Ethan. Dougray Scott was a bit wierd as villain.

Overall, this an energetic action flick with style. Some of the greatest visuals I've ever seen in an action film. It's got some of the coolest action sequences ever, and the finale is so epic. Highly Reccomended.
