I never really had time for Mo Mowlam when she was alive, mainly because I didn't really know that much about her and unfortunately I tarred her with the same brush as many of her colleagues. Mo tells her story without any unnecessary sugar-coating and it is as heartwarming as it is heartbreaking. Julie Walters and David Haig are brilliant in the leading roles and they handled the story respectfully and tastefully. A great made for TV film and a good modern history lesson too. Well worth looking out for.
