This film is just fun. It's about Gable running a Safari company in Africa and him banging the only two white women on the whole continent. It's a exact remake of Red Dust also starring Gable, but he is 20 years older and the women are the same age. This film is classic Gable. H...( read more)
Not as good as the original, Red Dust, but it is still an excellent film, expertly made by a very capable crew. Clark Gable and Ava Gardner make an excellent screen pair. Very good story, top notch production.

Some excellent photography of Africa improved upon the last version of this film. Also, excellent actors chosen for the roles.
A bit corny, but it still deserves the 3.5 stars because of its great cast and exotic scenarios.
