Moses: When are you going to adopt me?

Monsieur Ibrahim: Tomorrow if you like.

Ah, yes, if only life were always so easy. There is a definite fairy tale quality to this film. It's a nice, quiet story about love and acceptance. I'm sure they could have done more with t

This is less about the universal problems of racial or religious differences and child abandonment than it is about one individual finding his place in the world. A wonderful coming of age story, and a very fine performance by Omar Sharif.

Well done film about a Jewish boy who befriends a Muslim shopkeeper. Omar Sharif brings warmth and depth to his character Ibrahim. Such a touching story of friendship that is portrayed so beautiful. There were no boundaries of religion or color. It touched me deeply. This is a good movie to expand the mind of those stuck like a frog in a well.
