  There are many reasons that "Monsters, Inc." is so great, but the two main ones are easy to identify: Billy Crystal and John Goodman. These two, and their respective characters Mike and Sully, are classic match made in heaven. The way the story diverts monster cliches (by making the child the perceived monster) is fresh, and never once does the film settle for anything less than brilliant (which is most apparent in the chase atop the moving doors.)

  Ahh how I long for the days of Monster Inc. when Pixar was new and movies weren't in 3D. An absolute classic that never gets old I would have to say that Crystal and Goodman as Sully and Mike are two of my favourite comedic performances of all time, whether animated or not. Also, I like Monsters Inc. because of the tender undertones of Sully and Boo's relationship that makes me feel as warm and fuzzy on the inside as Sully is on the outside.

  The first film I ever saw. I never saw Toy Story until much later in life. This film is closer to my heart. Its colours are as rich and bright as Toy Story. I must disagree with everyone who thinks this film lacks sophistication because it is highly sophisticated and Pixar throws something else to Monsters Inc that was never really given to Toy Story, imagination. Furthermore, I think this film provides action, quality humour and even better visuals for Monsters Inc to be called Pixar's best.

  Childhood classic, Billy Crystal should do more animated voices, what a smart movie. Monsters Inc is based in the world where monsters live like us. Two monster named Mike (Billy Crystal) and Sully (John Goodman) are best friends and partners at a company called Monsters Inc, where they use doors and go into the rooms of children and scare them and use the childrens screams as energy, and Mike and Sully are the best in the business. When a child escapes into the monster world Mike and Sully get stuck with it, andmust get the little girl back to her door at the factory, but thats a problemseeing as the entire monster world is looking for her because they consider children as dangerous. The story was very original, but its Pixar, its always original. The music was beautiful, the plot is genius, and the comedy is fun for kids. I will always love Monsters Inc.

  Monster, Inc is a wonderful family film with all the usual tricks you'd expect from a Pixar film. The film is funny, and charming and the cast here do a great job. John Goodman and Billy Crystal are terrific in this film. Pixar has always delivered top notch entertainment that the entire family would love. The film is a lot of fun, I didn't think it would be this good, but the folks at Pixar always know how to create something entertaining and memorable. Monsters, Inc. is a terrific film thats very entertaining, funny and enjoyable for everyone in the entire family. Monsters, Inc is a fun comedy that delivers everything you'd expect from Pixar. I did enjoy this film very much, but compared to other Pixar greats such as Toy Story, I thought it lacked slightly at Times. But for the most p,art, the film worked, it was visually stunning and appealing and the cast did a great job. Monsters, Inc is an enjoyable film with a guaranteed good time for the whole family. Monster, Inc is a well written film that only Pixar could have made and pulled off so well. Though not flawless, Monsters, Inc is still a very good film. This is a film that the entire family will enjoy and have a good time.

  This is my favorite family movie, and probably Pixar's best (Yes, even over Toy Story. By a slim margin) It was funny, creative, and sweet and has everything you want in a family film. Let's start out with the humor. It's not laugh out loud, but for a family film, it's pretty funny. The scenes with Mike Wazowski were particulary funny. His colorful personality was perfect in making this movie so good. The voice acting was amazing too, even for a guy who hardly notices voice acting. John Goodman did a fantastic performance as Sully, the main character, keeping it realistic and cute at the same time. Steve Buscemi did a great job too as the despicable Randel. That brings us too our next positive, the villains. Monster Inc's villains are unlikeable and sinister as Pixar get's, while being age appropriate. They go to such lows as kidnapping children and torturing the other monsters. Now let's move on to something less dark. The heart. Boo is a truly adorable character, and her relationship with Sully and Mike is enough to bring a tear. As the movie moves on, we like her more and more. The plot was very creative too. Get this: Apparently, there is another world where monsters live, and they create energy by scaring little children, who they believe are deadly toxic. Cool or cool? This is, in my opinion, Pixar's best ever film and I look forward to the sequel. As a previous reviewer said "All Hail Pixar!"

  3 directors may seem like a bit much, but Pete Docter, David Silverman, and Lee Unkrich</i> put together another excellent film for Pixar.<p><i>Monsters, Inc.</i> has a story that only runs 85 minutes; however the concept behind it is a unique and amusing one. The pacing is rather swift and while there aren't a plethora of supporting characters to go through, the major ones that the film chooses to focus on are more than satisfactory to see it through to the end.</p><p>The laughs come and go, but the film entertains with more than comedy. The heroes are likable and the situations that they are thrown in are well thought out. The door chase scene is worthy of note.</p><p>Billy Crystal and John Goodman work well together and Mary Gibbs' voice is just as adorable as her character, Boo. Steve Buscemi is also a wise choice for the sneaky and slithery Randall Boggs.</p><p>To put it simply, <i>Monsters, Inc.</i> is a film for all ages to enjoy. "Okay, I think I know how to make this all go away. What happens when the whistle blows in five minutes?"</p>

  Just a really good movie. It's a great fantasty concept, that's to my knowledge incredibly original and a subject matter that anyone can relate to. The monsters are way too funny the way they live blue collar jobs scaring children through vortex doors. The voice talents are extremely effective here; Billy Crystal is so much more outrageous with his delivery when he has a giant eyeball. This is clearly a movie that's targeted for anyone who's ever been scared of the dark or the boogey man; so basically every living soul. Pixar didn't cheap out and go for the easy to make cornfest that this easily could have been. A ton of effort was made into making this a timeless classic.

  I liked it very much and I like that a second installment of this movie is coming soon which is very cool. It was heartfelt and funny at times, nice good story. In a city of monsters with no humans called Monstropolis centers around Monsters, Inc., the city's power company. Monsters, Inc. The lovable confidant, tough large, furry blue behemoth-like giant monster named James P. Sullivan (A.K.A. better known as Sulley) and his Cyclops wisecracking best friend short, green monster with one large eye, Mike Wazowski discover what happens when the real world interacts with theirs in the form of a 2-year-old baby girl dubbed "Boo," who accidentally sneaks into the monster world with Sulley one night. And now it's up to Sulley and Mike to send Boo back in her door before anybody and especially two evil villains such as Sulley's main rival as a scarer chameleon-like Randall(a monster that Boo is very afraid of), who possesses the ability to change the color of his skin and Mike and Sulley's boss Mr. Waternoose the chairman and chief executive officer of Monsters, Inc.

  The only word that I could understand from Boo was <i>kitty</i>. Other than that, she just talk in her own made up language which was funny and adorable. I loved this movie. I remember watching this on TV but wasn't that much moved or entertained. Because I didn't watched this A-Z. More like <i>a bit of this and a bit of that</i>. Monster's world is similar with our world. Only they have to depend on a child's scream (which is electric) to keep up their technology. My fave character from this was Mike Wazowski. He's so freaking funny. His dialogues were the best. I do recommend this to watch. Even the adults will enjoy this (I think). p.s: waiting for the second part!
