Most people either love or hate Monty Python. Their's usally no middle ground.
If your one of those that fall in the hate'em catogory, than your an empty-headed animal food trough water! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!
wow this is a really funny movie...this has got some absurd humor throughout the movie this is just so funny throughout..imn not sure which is the best monty python movie made because they are all so funny these are all really well performed throughout the movie its got good actors/actressess throughout the camelot scene is brilliant..this is amazingly funny n very painful 2 watch
Very, very funny movie. The absurd humor, one of the prominent Monty Python's characteristics, is placed around the legend of King Arthur. Often the non-sense is combined with the British humor, and from this is resulting the fact that Monty Python and the Holy Grail have the God touch. By the way, the movie has God like a character. My favorite scene is the one at the Bridge of Death and the final is like the entire film, you don't know from where is coming.
The White Bunny! African or European sparrows carrying a coconut? Unheard of!! And I found out from this movie that witches are made out of wood and it's a fair cop when you burn them! I love this movie and it will NEVER get old. For selective humour only though, some people won't get it.
It's classic. Though the humor is out there and not everybody gets it. This movie set the stage for thousands of other off the wall comedies. It's quoted world wide by nerds of every station. A must see.
The genius of Graham Chapman, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, John Cleese, Eric Idle, and Michael Palin. Low budget movie, with high quality comedy. Monty Python is hilarious.
The jokes are great, I laughed out loud, but some parts of the movie are a kind of let down and they affect the overall experience. Anyways there are jokes that will keep you laughing for a long time.
Surprisingly funny! The Black Knight lets no one pass - "That's just a flesh wound!" and the Knights who say Ni - "You must chop down the tallest tree in the forest ... with a herring!" And Tim the Enchanters warning about the Evil Bunny Haha.
Black Knight: Right, I'll do you for that!
King Arthur: You'll what?
Black Knight: Come here!
King Arthur: What are you gonna do, bleed on me?
Black Knight: I'm invincible!
It was suggested amongst a gathering of friends that we watch Holy Grail, and I started with just some Knights of Ni! and was soon reciting my favourite skits. Twenty minutes later, my monologue concluded with, "Yeah we've totally gotta watch it right now!". Silence and astounded looks held for several seconds until one friend said, "I think we just did."
People tend to think this is the best python, but I disagree. More people should see the other movies. But with that out of the way. This is still hilarious, your sides will split!
We watched some of this during social studies this year, I love it when the knight gets all of his limbs cut off in the forest and is like "we will call it a draw" LOL
You can never really go wrong with a Monty Python movie, and this one is no exception. And "Sir not appearing in this film" is pretty cool as well, :D!
This has got to be one of the greatest films of all time. I'm always quoting something from it. ANY fan of British humour, or comedy in general, MUST see it at least once!
AAAAAHHHH finally had a good moment to watch this masterpiece.......i loved the black knight, the chanting monks, the dead historian, The Knights of Ni and soooo many more....its what british comedy should be....witty and freaking hilarious...........WAY BETTER THAN LIFE OF BRIAN!!!
