Good movie, typical Bean. I love his stuff. But his stuff is much better in the shorter format. It becomes almost painful to watch in a full length movie. Still it's good.

Why did I go? I dont know, must have been bored. The original first few bean TV shows were Atkinson comic genius, then he took it too far. The first movie raised a smile out of me in about two or three places, this second movie did neither...no smiles, no comic genius, just a tir...( read more)ed, old, out of date character been dragged out to try and scavenge money out of people, Im sure Rowan Atkinson cant be that desperate for cash.
If your gonna do another movie of anything lets see a Blackadder movie, now that would be interesting.

Although this film can be very funny in parts some of the film just isn't. A very funny part of the film happens near the beginning of the film in a restaurant, as funny as this was, the concept was clearly taken from an original TV episode of Mr Bean. A lot of the audiences' att...( read more)ention was focused on the facial expressions he pulls at the video camera that he takes with him. While this was funny at first it became rather interminable the more the film went on. The part of the film that takes place in the Cannes film festival is rather boring and lacks entertainment. The funniest part of the film was at the end where all the cars stopped in unison to provide a pathway to the beach and that big joyous song sequence in the end. If you're a fan of Bean, then watch this one.

The return of Mr Bean to the big screen was bound to be a bit of a dodgy affair and while there are plenty of really good laughs, it sure does drag on a bit. Rowan Atkinson has to be congratulated on his ability to keep the near dead silent comedy/ slapstick genre alive. It's sim...( read more)plistic, silly and more of a series of unfortunate events than one continuous journey, but with a movie like this, you can't really expect high art. Still good for a laugh if you just want to give your brain a holiday.

Mr Bean can sometimes be too much! This time he was! There were many funny scenes, but the wholeness was almost boring and painful. When Mr Bean is the main character is he much better in the shorter format. He needs more serious actors beside him in a full lengt movie, like in M...( read more)r Bean disaster movie!
