Mr. and Mrs. Smith is a fun movie. It's at its best during the first half when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are (knowingly or unknowingly) at odds with each other, and then cools off a bit into servicable action scenes in its latter half.
The funny dynamic between the two is the...( read more)

Two good actors, two awful performances. It has about as much sexual tension as watching a Yorkshire Terrier hump your great aunt's leg!

This movie was purely a vehicle for both Pitt and Jolie, there isnt really much else here on offer. There are some nice guns battles, especially in the kitchen :) and some good lines and quips in a Bond-esque kind of way, but thats the prob really, its just a Bond rip basically, ...( read more)

Angelina Jolie? She bores me to death with her dull acting. Brad Pitt? Isn't that delightful either.
Critic Reviews
It's a love story not for the faint of heart. In other words, it's a lot like marriage. full review
Essentially, Mr. & Mrs. Smith exists for the purpose of showing off the gorgeous faces and physiques of its two stars, and for giving its audience the dubious pleasure of watching them beat each other... full review
Mr. & Mrs. Smith is an awful movie with two very good-looking people in it. full review
Pitt and Jolie make sexy sparring partners, but they can't lift this leaden material. full review

July 11, 2009Never had seen a movie with Angelina Jolie in which she wasn't the famous " Tomb Raider" this was the first movie i saw her free from that "paper" and i loved it, liked the story, and loved the action parts, husband fighting against wife. I think they are both great actors and have a great talent.

August 19, 2008This was a good movie! It had tons of action and lots of comedy; how could you go wrong. Of course, it's far fetched, but it was fun.
Take care all,
William
