November 15, 2007Jean Arthur is so sexy. This film annoyed me during the Happy American propaganda montage, and I was sick of it by the time Saunders sheds a tear at Sen. Smith's idyllic boys' camp proposal. I did love the phrase "Christmas tiger", though.

November 13, 2007A kinder, gentler pov on the legislature and our history. Thomas Mitchell gets a role with a bit of meat. Stewart is flawless in this movie. The ending is a trifle too quick.
