Excelent cast includes some of the better Serbian actors: Nikola Djuricko, Sonja Kolacaric, Tara Manic, Srdjan Todorovic, Nenad Jezdic, and they will make you laugh with near cartoonish situations but always in the boundaries of the reality. And everything started when Lemi and Kiza, two brothers had to bring their dead grandfather from Belgrade to Vrsac... Sounds easy? It should be, but they spent all their money and decide to smuggle the body by train.
The screenplay built up the story very interestingly, involving the characters in a spider web of circumstances which cannot make you stay indifferent. You will be involved quickly enough with drug dealers, small criminals, educated student going to visit her boyfriend in the Army, smart abandoned little girl, junkie mother, travelling salesman, grumpy old woman, policeman who thinks that he is detective, and a truck driver who thinks the same... and many, many more characters from that colourful part of the world where everything is possible! In the second quarter of the movie there is a small loss of the tempo (which is terrific for the most of the film and enhanced by the music of Mihailo Krstic and Dusan Petrovic), but that slightly reduced my rating of the movie, not the total enjoyment or the laughs.
It is really a sad fact that RT does not include at least 70% of the excellent movies I watch from China and The Balkans, that way reducing the opportunities for film lovers to know better the rich cinematography of those parts of the world. But, at least, they listed those before 2010, and I wanted to review this movie to let all my friends that there is so much more out there to see, enjoy and laugh (in this case).
