An emotionally unstable party boy who was growing too old for the nightclub scene, Cunanan (Jonathan Trent) fell into petty theft and drug dealing before embarking on a brutal killing spree that began in late April of 1997. The murders continuing as Cunanan made his way across the country, FBI agent Harry Spalding (James C. Burns) launches a massive manhunt to catch the trigger-happy fugitive.
