This is one of two films which, along with 'The Monster Squad', pretty much defined me as a child.

It plays a little like a low-rent 'Teen Wolf' and is unashamedly silly. However, it's rather entertaining and any film featuring both Rene Auberjonois and David Warner can't be all bad.

Aw, yes, I think this is one of those movies that is exactly like 'Once Bitten'. Nothing, however, can compare with 'My Boyfriend's Back' - the indisputable champion of silly, high school parodies of vampire/zombie movies. Let me remind you that Philip Hoffman was in it (credited that way).

The ultimate culmination of things we'd like to forget from the eighties. Tihs is a fun little movie that pokes fun at teenagers and vampires in the same field and does it smartly. It got a few chuckles out of me, especially the silver bullet joke at the end.

I saw this on USA Up all Night once. It was typical 80s drek. A silly premise with actors and actresses walking around in 80s garb and a soundtrack with synthesizers and Pat Benatar.

Oh, this movie reeks of the 80's! Woah! The clothes, the music, the people... Not my favorite time of the last century.
And definently not one of the proudest moments of a young Robert Sean Leonard but the movie has its brighter moments.

This was back in the day when I really liked Robert Sean Leonard. It's kinda lame and dated and I don't think I'd bother watching it again. Watch "Once Bitten" instead.

Low-budget, but actually quite amusing, 80s teen vamp comedy. May have actually aged better than THE LOST BOYS.

I like vampire movies, but this one is totally different. It is a comedy. A teenage boy getting bitten by a vampiress and the changes he goes through as he starts to see the changes. Ending is funny too.

Four and a half stars might seem a little bit much but any movie with Odo and Robert Sean Leonard in it has got to be good. And this movie is... In a bad way. It's a fun movie, with some awesome lines in it and some good tunes. The movie is one of those movies that even though you know its bad you keep going back to watch it because its soo bad its great!

This is so much better than Once Bitten. It has a great soundtrack, one of the first movies to feature the song " I gotta wear shades"

This silly little vampire story was surprisingly enjoyable. My favorite part of the film is, when their son keeps acting oddly, the parents surmise that he's gay, and are very supportive; much to his suprise. When it comes out that he's actually a vampire, they are not sure what to do! Funny film!
