My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys
Veteran rodeo rider H.D. Dalton (Scott Glenn) returns to his Oklahoma boyhood home to recuperate from riding injuries and finds himself pitted against his sister Cheryl (Tess Harper) and her husband Clint (Gary Busey) over their decision to place the elder Dalton (Ben Johnson) in a nursing home. H.D. finds more problems in the guise of Jolie (Kate Capshaw), his now-widowed ex-girlfriend struggling to raise her children.
