This one also had a great level of just all out creepiness. We are a society that feels like we are being watched 24/7 as it is, but how about for sport? Flipping the idea of reality television and turning into a Roman feast, the movie got a little weird (or MORE weird, anyway) towards the end, but definitely worth checking out, especially if you are an avid fan of the horror genre.

It was a great low-budget Thriller with some good twists and even though it wasn't an exciting film the storyline was very good and I enjoyed it.

a horror film that treats its characters more like the victims that they are, and less like bags of syrup.

Could have been a suspenseful thriller and fascinating commentary on reality television and "big brother," but instead this indie flick decided to take the sex soaked slasher flick route. Boring ...

Low budget horror. Like some kind of fucked up version of Big Brother, five people enter a live webcast competition where they will stay in a secluded house whilst being filmed the whole time as it gets streamed across the internet.Or so they are told. The prize is one million dollars but if one person walks out they all lose. This has some great moments where the contestants begin to get more and more paranoid as we see that there's alot more going on in this show than meets the eye.The only down point for me would be the use of a soundtrack and the way it cuts off from the CCTV style camera's occasionally towards the end. This would have been much more effective if they stuck with the CCTV style all the way through with no soundtrack, unless the housemates were actually playing music from stereo's or something,as this would have been more realistic.Other than that,a decent, pretty scary, well made B-movie.

A nice claustrophobic thriller about five of the usual dumb as fuck teenagers staying in a cabin in the woods for six months for an internet webcast to win £1,000,000. Towards the final few weeks things start to go wrong, is it the 'company' behind the broadcast playing unfairly or is it somrething more sinister, you've probably rightly guessed it's the more sinister option and i'm not going to tell you anymore plotwise. The first half of the film is extremley slow or very suspense filled to use better terminology (or lie a little) the acting as you would expect is shit but we don't watch these films for the acting do we?... Overall some good twists and nice grusome death scenes make this a worthwhile watch.

'My Little Eye' is clever in its attempt to play on the fears of modern day society, including invasion of privacy and the dangers of the internet, but unfortunately it falls quite flat through its lack of originality. 5 strangers are placed in a 'Big Brother' type situation in order to win a large quantity of money. What follows is a pretty predictable, not-so interesting chain of events that results in a murderous back-stabbing frenzy. It's shot in the similar style of 'The Blair Witch Project' and plays on the voyeuristic qualities of other horror films, but it's twist at the end is something we're all to familiar with nowadays in contemporary horror films. Add to this the conventional horror characters of 'the slut' 'the virgin' 'the nice guy' and 'the rebel' and you'll find yourself right in the middle of a horror cliché that is admirable for its attempt at painting a distressingly bleak outlook on human morality, but ultimately a bit of a bore. Not bad, but not good either.

Five strangers to spend six months in an isolated mansion as part of an international internet webcast. If all remain at the end, each win $1million. 'My Little Eye' is ultimately a moderately interesting, usually conventional but at times intriguing horror flick, disguised with a cloak of psychological debate and sociology that isn't half as deep as the film-makers want it to be. With it's CCTV-footage style and cast of unknown actors, we are drawn in with a relatively suspensful build-up, despite the moments of fear being familiar and somewhat artificial, yet the sense of voyeurism does add a sense of authenticity about it, not to mention making us feel uncomfortable. The story appears to go in the conventional route of past mistakes resulting in modern slaughter, but luckily the narrative twists and turns for a few moments, and we are genuinely excited at the prospect of such a different story-arc. But then the director cashes this in, almost desperate to reverse and follow the road of teenage massacre, in an array of styles, all unnecessary considering a gun is just lying around. The film too, contains some of the most dull, almost pitch-perfect stereotypes for 'characters', none of whom interest on any level; they are bland, false and lack any sort of real personality. The ending does break convention, and in a frightening way, but it's all dealt with so typically, and the prospect of exciting, enthusiastic debate is never fully realised; the film is almost afraid to acknowledge what the story says about society, the lure of fame and fortune and the underground world of voyeurism we all ignore. In the end, 'My Little Eye' doesn't deliver what it promises, opting for convoluted plot devices, cheap, illogical horror and inexplicably boring characters - you can't help wondering how good it truly could have been.

A twisted and thrashy low-budget horror tale featuring adequate performances and a good dose of absurdity, My Little Eye is, to say the least, an intriguing gimmick that almost, ALMOST ends its elaborate track run with a 'winner' ribbon. Unfortunately, the third act here is strictly 'freaked out people kill each other' stuff, which is not nearly as satisfying as the nearly masterful buildup would promise. So, yeah, it basically sucks that it eventually turns into something that sucks, but what can I say, My Little Eye eventually overstays its welcome to the point where you won't give a damn anymore about what's happening to who during the final ten minutes. Bummer, bummer.

A few years back it seemed that there were a million horror/suspense flicks that all hopped in the 'Big Brother' 24 hour webcast bandwagon. All of them pretty well sucked so i stayed away, heck, even a Halloween film was based around it.

I finally got around to watching My Little Eye which I normally wouldn't have except Jennifer ky is in it, so that tipped the scale why not, she's a little hottie.

The film is pretty low key and honestly, pretty well sucks throughout the first forty minutes. It's funny but as soon as Jennifer Sky's character has a pretty hot sex scene with some wandering stranger, the film gets good. Mursers start to happen and the twists are beginning to show. If this films shortened that first forty minutes to like five and got on with it at that point, it would have been a far greater film. Overall the first half was tough to sit through and maintain an interest, but if you've made it that far then you may as well enjoy the second bit.

Five strangers sign up for a webcast reality show, living in a creepy house in the middle of nowhere under constant camera surveillance, the aim as simple as to stay to the end of the 6 months for the reward of a million dollars. The catch? If anyone leaves, they all lose. All desperate for the money, they refuse to accept the eerie happenings and weird coincidences as anything but a stunt pulled by the production team to scare them off. When the first contestant dies, so does this theory, and they begin to discover that perhaps, things are not entirely as they seem. Credit to this film for a brilliant idea, it's a very original claustrophobic plot which is actually acted out pretty well by a bunch of unknown faces, which sort of contributes to the unsettling mood. The problem- they had no idea what they were doing with the suspense techniques. It's almost embarrassing how pathetic the buildups are, but nonetheless it's good fun and worth seeing...

Great, slow burn horror film about a bunch of young adults staying in an isolated cottage to win a contest. Their every move is being recorded for the internet and if someone leaves, they all lose. I thought the film was pretty good on first viewing, but it's on of those rare films that the more I see it the more I love it.

I Cant Understand Why Some People Thought This Film Was So Bad, Its One of The Best Horror Films In Recent Memory. The Atmosphere Is Great And Creepy, The Performances Are Also Great, Especially From Kris Lemche. My Little Eye Is Everything That Makes A Great Horror Film. Tension, Suspense, Gripping Story, And Engaging Performances. This Film Is Far From Being Boring, Its Very Entertaining, And Provides A Nice Twist At The End. I Agree With The Review On The Front of The Case. The Greatest Fright Flick Since The Exorcist. This Is A Brilliant Horror Film. Totally Gripping From Beginning To End. I Loved Everything About This. The Characters, The Plot, The Dialogue, The Suspense, Everything. I Love It...

I caught this little gem on late night cable and have to say that I really enjoyed it. It did create a creepy atmosphere with the group isolated and I liked the revelation in the end. Worth a viewing.

I liked the way this was shot through webcam feed style cameras, which reminded me a bit of The Blair Witch Project (as that's shot through the cameras the 'cast' were meant to be using, making it somewhat more realistic) although I was slightly disappointed by the ending.

This is one of the most original horror films that ive seen. The entire movie is shot on high quality webcams in a creepy old house in the middle of nowhere. I thought it was very cool how they played each character off of each other, and made everyone paranoid and untrusting. Go check it out.

Filmed almost entirely with cameras in interlaced mode and sporting shot angles reminiscent of Big Brother, this horror/mockumentary hybrid is a classic Canadian chiller. Unless you recognise the actors in it from other films (e.g. Kris Lemche from Ginger Snaps), it is nearly impossible to determine whether what you are seeing is in fact a genuine snuff film. Definately worth a look though...

This film is unique and COMPLETELY original. It's tense atmosphere is heightened by the creepy house and the idea of constant, unyielding surveillance by an unseen "company".

Things go awry when, in the last few days of their six month stay, the group recieves a package full of bricks instead of supplies. And it just gets creepy from then on.

I don't want to ruin it, but from a complete movie snob, this film excels in every way.
