This should have been a great film. Unfortunately Bruce totally misses the mark. When spoofing your own films its important the film is a) Better than the ones your spoofing b) Funny c) Original. This film was none of the above. I still love Bruce Campbell, just a little less tha...( read more)n I did before :o(

2.5 stars simply because it's Bruce Campbell trying hard to make fun of his failed career, although he kind of fails at that too. The first 5 minutes had me real excited, but then it quickly turned into humor fit for people that liked Alien Apocalypse.

The shame of this film is that if someone unfamiliar with The Chin were to watch it, they'd have no idea why Bruce is so adored by his fanbase. In fact, they might even be turned off from ever wanting to find out. Silly and low budget, and sure, a fun idea, but Bruce deserves b...( read more)etter self-parody than this.

Bad jokes, monster fighting and darkly lit scenes. It cannot touch the excellent "Evil Dead" films.

A thoroughly silly/self-indulgent low-budget film made for people who revel in thoroughly silly low-budget films. Fanboys rejoice. Filmistas beware. I'm neither, so I had fun.

Not as fun as I thought it would be, but I still can't resist a Bruce Campbell film. Especially when he is making fun of himself. What torture when that awesome memorabilia was being ruined.

I couldn't even watch all of it, and I love Bruce Campbell!

First off, this is the movie that allowed me to meet Bruce Campbell (he also mocked me, twas great), so I am a little biased. Having said that, this is freaking hilarious. Everything (including the villain) is a great send up of the career of the titular Mr. Campbell, whom direct...( read more)s and stars. He plays himself as a down-and-out washed up bitter man, very much against type, as he normally plays slightly bumbling, heroic types, and as a director, he keeps the jokes coming (some a little more successful for the uninitiated) steady and evenly. The required love interest also gets some good laughs.
