Cuthbert can't do dramas. Soppy bollocks remake of another soppy bollocks. Predictable too. But it would work for a teenage date movie fine. Ah don't we all wish we were young!

An utter stab to the heart of any proud fan of My Sassy Girl. Not the decision itself of remaking it (this must be what? The remake number 70199? That has stopped to surprise me about five years ago) but the fact that the writers fell, too, to the temptation of filthy Holl...( read more)

September 4, 2009The ending of this movie is so touching. So beautiful. Only for that you should already see this movie. But the rest is also very nice! Elisha Cuthbert is one of my favourite actresses, Jesse Bradford was new for me, but I like him.
The acting is good, and the chemistry.. I think they like eachother in real life too!
Must see for romantic fans. -
January 29, 2009i saw the korean version already.. and i was going to see this version
but i think i'll change my mind after that i saw the Comments -
October 8, 2008this movie is a very predictable since i've d original korean version already. but to sum it up, it another OK movie. nothing "magical and surprising" and there's no worth-remembering-movie factor. it's not even a tear-jerker movie. if u've seen the original version already, this movie honestly sucks. the korean version was really copied, all of it, except for some very minor changes. the cast's performances was a bit ok. jesse bradford's acting is not that award-winning but not that bad either. cuthbert's performance was honestly was to o.a. the intensity and energy of her performance doesn't really surpass that of the korean version. but she appears so ambitious and trying hard to even get equal or surpass the original sassy girl's performance. she appears so silly and lunatic. her druken acting's not even that good and will never be better. and i have nothing against cuthbert but that's the way it really is. she sucks in this movie. maybe it just the way it is if you're doing a remake which made her acting hideous, not really natural and effortlessly done. maybe if you haven't seen the original version, this would probably turn out as a great movie. my apologies if i've seen the original version first. but if i'm gonna compare the two version without any bias, the korean version still gonna rule.
