So, the beautiful Celeste lands on earth, conveniantely in the scientists hands and knows nothing about humanity, interesting how she learns, especially the breakfast making scene.

MCT:October 18, 2007"My Stepmother is an Alien" is one of the best family comedies I have ever seen. Not only is the acting superb, but the writing is top notch. It has a wild plot that takes you on a ride and keeps you guessing, all the while providing good, clean comedy that is solid entertainment for all ages. I do believe that this film is kettle to it's very core. Everyone should check it out.

I have to say that when I was a kid I really liked this movie. It was funny and I can remember watching it more than once. These days, however, it is probably safe to assume that it wouldn't entertain me in the same way.

certainly does the trick of getting in the laughs, okay so its not a thinker and you wont learn anything but who really cares? films can be silly and fun sometimes and this is a prime example, wont live in the memory long but enjoyable while it lasts.

This movie is not that bad of a film. Kim Basinger and Dan Aykroyd star in this 1988 comedy film. An female alien comes to Earth anf falls for a scienctist. A funny movie with some interesting moments.

A very funny movie. I wish Dan Aykroyd had done more movies like this. The story was entertaining. Trivia: The daughter was played by Allison Hannigan and her boyfriend was played by Seth Green. The two would later play a couple in the Buffy tv series.

Another one of my favorite Aykroyd films! Alyson Hanniganis great in this also. Basinger gets props also. I loved this movie as a kid and I still like it today!

Kim Basinger's no comedieene, but there are some nice touches in this tale of a gorgeous alien getting hitched to Dan Aykroyd so that she can save her planet from his invention and, along the way, learn all about love, sex and sneezing.

Ditsy but humorous in spots and a generally likable movie and Kim Basinger never looked better as it was unusual to see her in a comedy after viewing her in tough crime or sex-type movies. In all, a dumb story but a nice, feel-good ending.
