Should have been much better but it was a welcome relief after sitting through countless Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Lopez chick flicks! Eddie Izzard is wasted though!
A fairly decent turn at a rom-com with a difference. Has some funny scenes with a super hero girl who turns nasty after being broken up with. Anna Faris is good in this. Worth a watch next time it's on TV.
The film has a great premise. Super-hero is possessive and jealous within a relationship. I also think such a premise works best as a comedy, though a dark route would have also been interesting. The comedy just isn't that funny. One fantastic scene, which really takes advantage ...( read more)
I like Rainn Wilson from the Office and he was ok in this, not great, but ok. Anna Faris also had an ok supporting role. But I'm not a fan of Uma or Luke so I couldn't connect with the romantic couple. This wasn't as funny or super as I expected.
No matter what you read negatively, dont listen to it. This movie is very good, a good laugh, intelligent, light humour, a perfect movie to unwind and relax and have fun. Super!
It was a good concept but the whole movie went wrong in many aspects. Hoped better from Uma Thurman.
I quite liked this quirky comedy of an ordinary man who hooks up with a hot superheroine. Things get even funnier when he breaks up with her and finds she has a crazy temper. Loved the parody of the fight on the streets of Metropolis in Superman II.
