Luna (Zrinka Cvitesic) and her boyfriend Amar (Leon Lucev) have been together for two years; she's a flight attendant and he works at the airport with the ground crew. Luna and Amar have been trying to have a baby without success, and when they discover Amar's low sperm count is to blame, he falls into a depression and begins drinking heavily. Amar is fired for reporting to work drunk, and an old friend, Bahrija (Ermin Bravo), offers to help by getting Amar a short term job near Lake Jablanica. Amar takes the job, and though Luna misses him, she thinks some time away from the city would do him good. Luna visits Amar a few weeks later, and he's sober and content, but he's also become acclimated to the ways of the Muslim Wahhabi community in Lake Jablanica. Men and women live in sexually segregated barracks, women must obey strict dress codes, and alcohol and pre-marital sex are strictly forbidden; Amar makes it clear he wants to stay and wants Luna to join him, but she's not certain if she's willing to turn her back on the freedoms of the modern world for his sake. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi
