A sweet and subtle comedy that is nearly perfect apart from some annoying Jack Blackisms.

    And I quote...
"Jack Black is not very funny in "Nacho Libre," and that requires some meditation. Jack Black is essentially, intrinsically and instinctively a funny actor. Critics panned it, I enjoyed this movie. Funnier throughout than Nap. Dynamite, great lines, perfect funny role for Jack Black.

This is not to be taken seriously, otherwise you'll miss th...( read more)e point. A film with lots of heart.

Whilst it could have been better I really enjoyed this, although it wasn't as brilliant as it may sound.

I really like the effort Jack Black puts into his performances, and it took me a while to enjoy this film as much as I do as it can lose comedy aspects in replace of some gen...( read more)uinely touching moments.

It really does have its moments as a comedy and I would recommend it for Jack Black fans.
