Critic Reviews

  • James Plath, Movie Metropolis

Bridges and Basinger are engaging, but there's not much depth, and not enough action or laughs.

  • Brent Simon, Now Playing Magazine

A loosely structured, vaguely screwball romantic comedy that seems out of time and out of place.

  • Scott Weinberg, DVDTalk.com

An innocuous little wisp of a romantic comedy, spiced up with some chases, escapes, and even a few gunfights.

  • Dan Lybarger, Nitrate Online

Modest but occasionally entertaining flick with a nice pairing of Bridges and Basinger

  • Clint Morris, Moviehole

Maybe this film is responsible for the death of the drive-in?

Jeff Bridges and Kim Basenger with real heavy accents ya'll, get inta all kinda trouble. It looks very dated, but it's just about watchable, because of the great actors.
