Plot:
A ridiculously tearful melodrama. Despite the medium grade writing and direction, picking nits with this film is useless. It is so well-acted by two beautiful Koreans it's freakish. First half is smiley RomCom, second half is face dripping, and I mean soaking wet, sad.
this is another lacrimal-stimulant movie. i was drowning in my own tears while watching this movie. even after the movie, remembering the movie's moments still makes me cry. spending a time to watch this movie is worth it. if you want to know what unconditional love really is? this moviewill answer this question! im cry right now. lol the actors are smokin' hot and the acting was so natural, its too good to be true. though it has some realistic flaws..... Alzheimer's disease will never be existent at a very young age. aside from this flaw, the movie is perfect. watch this movie and see for your self!
I cried... on the part where he was called by his wife by the name of her ex and said "Saranghe" Then he nod and smiled, opened the door, closed it and cried! that was it!
I kept repeating it over and over again and recommended it to others. its not fair that im the only one who dried and Chul Soo was smoking HOT!
A cute, innocent and sweet love story. Although it seems rather dramatic since it dealt with love and death(like many other Korean movies or sitcom), but the two characters, from how they met, their personality and the time they spend together as a couple, resemble the innocence and purity of teenage love. I love the close-ups on all the little details on gestures, small objects and facial expressions. Though highly predictable, it ended slightly differently then I expected, and what happened to the house?
This is a pretty good Korean drama from John H. Lee. He gives a completely deep drama about the relationship between married young couples after the wife got an Alzheimer... Two main actors, Woo-sung Jung and Ye-jin Son show great acting... Their act really natural, it just looks like it really happened on them... But one big problem for this movie is the story was pretty boring... Even I wanted to turn off this movie because I don't understand the movie... But overall, it a big thumbs up for the cast... They did a brilliant job in this movie, just need rework the screenplay I think...
A terrific love story of tragic proportions this is the one that typifies the best of Korean romantic drama. This is a real tear jerker of a film; prepare to open up the floodgates at the end!
Ceritanya mirip 1 Litre of Tears. Tapi sumpah sedih banget! Film romantis ini sangat gue rekomendasiin!
One of the most romantic yet sad movie ever. Beautiful story with great performance from Woo-sung Jung and the beautiful Ye-jin Son. This movie reminds us how precious life is and never to stop loving.
really cried a bucket of tears in this one.. koreans do have a flair of making tear-jerking movies..
Movie with a different argument. Directed and acted with the soul. A movie to remember. The Notebook's predecessor.
This is an emotional movie. I am not Korean but I like to watch Korean movies. It is educational to read subtitles too. But I noticed almost their movies have illnesses, and I end up crying and wishing the ending would be different.
I know sucky reviews of this movie are spreading like fire in Korean movie website but I can't help it. I simply like the movie, rarely I get to watch a tragic romantic movie that made me glued to my sit. A spin-off "The Notebook?" I dunno. If you haven't cried for a long time and want to do so, be sure to catch this with boxes of kleenex by your side. The movie will give you a feeling of despair and misery but you will like it.
A good movie about Alzheimer sickness (Hopefully I spelled it right) and strong performance from Son Ye Jin, this movie is certainly touching.
lol...a korean spinoff of a walk to remember, I wanna see how they changed it...hopefulyl better!
I dont like the orig story though...
Nauseatingly sentimental, trite and leaving the viewer with a strange not-so-fresh feeling. BUT I LOVED IT.
Maybe it was acting, or was it the directing? The emotional I was, or was it the people I watched this with? A bit of everything. This is the best movie I have seen in months. Please watch this, I know, sucky review, the less you know about it, the better, though.
Wow. . . one of my favourite movies of all time. . .
It's story line is similar to that of The Notebook, but in the end, AMTR wins.
My favorite contemporary love story.... A must-see!!! I mean totally a must-see.... Thanks to Bubbles!!!
I cried my eyes out watching this movie, but my friends said the movie was more retarded than sad. I'd say you'll either like it or hate it. See it if you want to watching sad stories.
If you like 'Love Stories", You will love this one & If you dont like 'Love Stories', You will still like this one!...
