Ilan Ben-Natan (Yossi Pollak) is a well-respected astrophysics professor at University of Haifa. A May-December romance led sixty-year-old Ilan to marry Naomi (Melanie Peres), a lovely commercial artist less than half his age. Ilan thinks all is well in his marriage until he discovers Naomi has taken a lover, Oded (Rami Heuberger), and when Ilan confronts the man who has made him a cuckold, it leads to an ugly fight in which Oded is killed. Needing to hide the body, Ilan buries Oded in a nearby cemetery, but the corpse is found a few days later. Anton Karam (Suhel Haddad), the detective assigned to the case, has known Ilan for years, and the investigation becomes something of a cat and mouse game until an unexpected turn of events throws everything into uncertainty. Naomi (aka Hitparzut X) was the first feature film from Israeli filmmaker Eitan Zur. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi
