    Predictable but cute.

A modest and saccharine addition to the genre; wooden, slightly amusing at moments.

It was better than I expected it to be , actually. Sweet, funny and makes you feel good.

I wish I would see Renée Zellweger in more sophisticated roles, however, because she's talented enough to pull of a performance far greater than the sweet girl next door.

It's a Good Movie =) I'm surprised everyone has the Christmas Spirit in this film. Renée Zellweger's performance in this movie was alright.

Rene Zwelleger falls a lot, and Minnesota gets made fun of a lot. There you go, that is what happens. The plot is so predictable it hurts, the jokes are so old it hurts, the chemistry between Zwelleger and Connick Jr. is non-existent, and the romance part is very rushed, while al...( read more)l the locals are must have studied Fargo and ran too far with it. I never laughed once, didn't even crack a smile. I am quite flabbergasted at Rene's ability to ruin any movie she is any, like "Appalosa" for example (as soon as she showed up there, I just wanted to punched her right out). Here, she does not single handily ruin it (like she did in the aforementioned western), but she certainly does weigh it down a bit. Her comic timing is flat, and she brings no life to her character. Last year was full of some great comedies and some fun/ decent ones, moreso than any other recent year I can think of. 2009 is off to a terrible start if it's planning on keeping up.

It seemed a little boring to me and predictable. There where a few laughs, most of them provided by the supporting characters.
