I watched New Moon yesterday and overall I think it's pretty good. Some people are saying there wasn't enough action in it.. well people did you read the book? There wasn't much action in that either.

The movie followed the book fairly well I thought. In fact overall, I was pret...( read more)ty impressed with the movie. The wolves looked cool. I reckon the next movie will be great as it will have more action scenes in it with wolves fighting vampires and so forth.

The acting wasn't so great. The person who played Jacob did a pretty good job, the person who played Laurent did a fairly good job and the person who played Bella did better than last time and was pretty good in this movie. However, the person who played Alice wasn't very spectacular and I don't think they played her character well and as usual I think Robert Pattison can't act.

Other than that I loved the movie. If you can get past the dodgy acting it's good. If you liked the book of New Moon you should like the movie.

Not bad, The story is a lot more developed than the first, and the main characters are given a lot more depth. It does plod along almost like a soap opera, and I still think the characters are not very well written. Plus you could clearly see that they threw a lot more money at ...( read more)the production this time around, compared to it's dodgy predecessor. Definitely one for the ladies.

As much as I enjoyed seeing the wolf pack becoming part of the saga, I myself am more a vampire themed fanatic, and there just wasn't enough exposure for my satisfaction, most exciting scenes for me was where Jacob & Paul fight in wolf form & of course when Edward fights with Fel...( read more)ix (very entertaining fight scenes) You can also bet your bottom dollar that I will be watching it over & over again, till it's dead & dusted :) well at least till Eclipse has been released.

Stephanie Zacharek, Salon.com

New Moon offers few of the juicy, go-for-broke romantic pleasures of its predecessor, and the movie is so badly shaped that it's hard not to blame Weitz as a director. full review

I can't comment on the acting because I didn't catch Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner doing any. They basically primp and pose through the same humdrum motions they did before. full review

The movie gives the 'Twilight' fans exactly what they want but doesn't offer too much for the rest of us. full review

Weitz is more awkward than Hardwicke with the casual teenaged interactions. Melissa Rosenberg's dialogue hasn't improved, though she gets a boost by using quotes from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. full review

Alexandre Desplat's overwrought musical score will appeal to viewers who already agree that Bella and Edward's love is glorious. Others won't be persuaded, no matter how much he insists. full review

Though an improvement over the first Twilight film, this sequel (both based on Stephenie Meyer's best-selling books) drags and sputters, even in scenes meant to be infused with passion. full review

This movie is reallly really good. I saw it at midnight and I would totally see it again. The acting is much better, It draws you in more and theres more action. Taylor Lautner really makes the movie though. I'm pretty impressed and encourage everyone to see it, even people who weren't impressed with Twilight. Oh and the ending is really great as well :)

"twighlight saga new moon is the best movie ever it took my heart i felt i was apart of the movie so all you anti-twilight i have only one thing to say; please dont be jelous of the actors they are cool all right not like the zac efron that treats his fans like shit"
p.s robert pattinson i think i am in love with you, and taylor launter you are dreamy but robert is so mysterous and he is a vampire and can change people to vampires but you might get angry and kill the as and you cant make as into warewolves.
Go Twilight and we love you Stephenie Meyer."

I really did not like it. The only good parts were scenes with Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen and Jamie Campbell Bower. =] Waaay better actors than Robert, Kristen and Taylor put together.

    TEAM ROSALIE + VOLTURI!!

I can't wait to see this movie! And I definitely agree, everyone needs to leave Kristen alone! She's done a great job so far, and so have Robert and Taylor! I'm so glad they kept him as Jacob! Nobody could have played him better!
