Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"The acting of central couple, Tunney and Thomas, is good, but the film can't find the balance between an intriguing character study and a chronicle of illness and its effects."
‑ Emanuel Levy, EmanuelLevy.Com
"To term her work a tour-de-force is not to imply that she attacks the scenery; Tunney's effectiveness lies in her modulation and vulnerability."
‑ Michael Dequina, TheMovieReport.com
"Though ostensibly honest in its depiction of Tourette's, those with Tourette's may take offense at the implication that they're psychos"
‑ Luke Y. Thompson, New Times
"Tunney...is often mesmerizing as the afflicted young woman. Niagara Niagara also boasts a fine soundtrack and was appealingly lensed in upstate New York."
‑ Doris Toumarkine, Film Journal International
