Pretty cool movie with a nice soundtrack. Nice relax movie, watching awkward 18 year olds and wishing you were that old again at the end. Like I say, good soundtrack!
Michael Cera, Kat Dennings, Alexis Dziena

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist is pretentious and conventional in every possible way, but it's also got a dumb charm that somehow manages to make it vaguely likable. Michael Cera plays his usual stale awkwardness more dramatically and Kat Dennings delivers her dialogue like a...( read more)

Okay to watch, but some parts annoyed me, especially with the ex's being around...when the ex bf came, she acted like she didn't know what to do...so fake.

The best reasons to watch this film is Michael Cera and Kat Dennings. They both shine in the film. They have a great on screen chemistry. However, in my opinion, some of the other cast-members were miscast. Alexis Dziena was much better on Entourage than in this film. Some scenes...( read more)

Critic Reviews
The movie around them may not have enough shape, contrast and texture. But at least these characters are always moving forward, even if the only sure thing they've got to look forward to is dawn. full review
An uneven but sweet-natured bop through the unstable ground of teenage lust and loneliness. full review
The film really is a homage to vintage Hollywood comedy. full review
As thin as an iPod Nano, as full of adolescent self-display as a Facebook page, Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist strives to capture what it's like to be young right now. full review

Not only is their playlist worth a listen, but Nick and Norah are surprisingly good company with whom to spend a long night in the city. full review
One advantage that Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist has over the typical teen romantic comedy is a terrific soundtrack that perfectly matches the fleeting loyalties of teenage love. full review

November 2, 2008Ari Graynor made this pretty disappointing movie for me.
Michael Cera is (suprise, suprise)the same character here as he is everywhere else, and Kat Dennings just isn't likeable. -
