A pleasant way to pass a couple of hours on a flight, but it's really just a bunch of cliche fun for kids...
  • October 6, 2009
Decent comedy and slightly better than the prequel in my opinion. But missing more of Robin Williams.

Not bad. I dont usually like Ben Stiller. But this served as a perfect segue into my activities in DC with my girls. We are going to be exploring the Smithsonian and this movie got them so excited to go.

I only saw it once (in IMAX! :D), so I can't say for sure if I like it better than the first, but I did enjoy it heartily. Darth Vader's cameo helped. :p Amy Adams made a great Amelia Earhart.

Un-funny and silly really for the young children.I wish ben stiller get back to some funnier stuff like tropic thunder...!
  • November 6, 2009
This movie was just as good as the first and I really enjoyed it definitely worth buying both of them

Second installment of this little Ben Stiller driver. Really well done with the usual line up of part time statue/part time action heroes. Hank Azaria is fantastic as the lisping baddy in this.....Generally a really enjoyable film for boys and girls of all ages.

Same concept as the first one, that is both good and bad but i think it worked quite well... But it would be nice with something new if there is coming a third film.

bagus.. tapi memang lebih menegangkan yang pertama..
  • November 3, 2009
I totally loved this movie!! Although, i enjoyed the first one, this one totally tops that! Its hilarious with a good cast and a simple plot. Loved it!

I was surprised by how funny and well-made the sequel is, especially for a "family film." full review

Battle of the Smithsonian is far from art, but there's plenty of art in it, and for parents seeking a reasonable afternoon's entertainment for the kids, that's recommendation enough. full review

The film offers enough ingenious touches and playful humor that the less-inspired elements hit with a screech. full review

It falls flat trying to muster up any mirth or suspense as it barrels from one set piece to the next. full review

Whatever its flaws may be, it at least refuses to be a stiff, lifeless relic. full review

It's bigger, noisier, shinier, and dumber, and it has no earthly reason to exist. full review
