A sub-par remake by every stretch of the imagination - but who cares? It's zombies! In 3D! With Sid Haig! The cheese is smothering, but, damn, is it delicious too. Just -do not- take it seriously, and you'll have a blast with this movie.

The only worthwhile thing was Sid Haig's two minute cameo where he is beating the shit out of zombies with a shovel. It's another failed attempt to remake a classic that just cannot be done. Hopefully they will give up soon and stop torturing audiences.

This has to be just about as bad a remake as Tom Savini's 1990 one. The script is absolutely terrible & the delivery just as bad. I didn't see this in 3D but it didn't seem like the effects would be too impressive because the direction is aimless...1 * for Sid Haig (I don't kno...( read more)

Not bad. I liked how they had the original playing. But I don't get why none of them came to the realization that there watching the movie with the woman named Barbara and the actual stuff is happening, with the woman named Barbara. Good though. The others were way better though.

December 4, 2007One more to my list "Horror Hall Of Shame"
This is the worst remake for a horror film. The acting was bad that includes Sid Haig(Not like he's a good actor). The make-up for few zombies is not even that good with green faces & others looks like zombie costume taken from a local shop. The dialog is beyond horrible & the score stays the same for every scene that becomes annoying. No creativity or concept to make this work at any level.I thought Day of the dead 2:Contagium was a joke but this one is a insult to George Romero.
