James Plath, Movie Metropolis
Crowe isn't bad, but this cop-gang-crime-fugitive movie feels like one weird burgoo. Whatever writer-director Frank A. Cappello read about, heard about, saw, imagined, or ran over with his car, he tossed into the stew.

James Plath, Movie Metropolis
There was probably more action at the bar where Crowe drank after shooting stopped for the day.
