What a sleazy...back stabbing...yet enjoyable..."made for television" melodramatic movie! It is 2 discs long...about how the leader of a major corporation called a "taipan" has to wheel and deal to keep his 150 year old corporation afloat as well as collect some coins that shows proof that he is the sole heir of the oriental stock brokerage corporation. Fairly well portrayed storyline showing the price that is paid for when you get involved with the sleaze and the greed of the oriental stock brokerage commodities exchange. A pretty good view set in the cheesy overtones of a "Dynasty" mini-series. Check it out!
