    Sets itself apart from others in the crime thriller genre by concentrating on pathos instead of procedurals or criminal pathology. The film experiments with sound, not as a stylized gimmick, instead it's used to give us a sense of realism and connection, which is the theme of the...( read more) film.

    A different take on a cop story that doesn't come off as typical groundwork for a flawed hero or some sort of superman. While looking forward to seeing Brendan Cowell in future releases, the real star of the film is sound, from dialogue, score to foley. Although the film involv...( read more)es tracking a mass murderer on the run, Noise is very character-driven and steers away from becoming another CSI-oriented story that is well worth viewing.

    Amazing, yet another great aussie film, I reckon it is one of the best australian films ever, should have rated ahead of 'romulus my father' aswell. you got to see it its brilliant

    Infuriating. Once again an Aussie movie which comes so close to being good, yet misses in so many ways. It does get better, once you've survived the initial bombardment of shout-at-the-screen cliches, but maybe that's just resignation setting in.

    One of the best Australian films by far. Great storline and sub plots, excellent devolpment, and rich characters. it gets you hooked, and it is very easy to follow. you become intrested in the stories that run throughout the film. genuinly good, with very few flaws. a great endin...( read more)g highlighted by juxapositioning, and scene cutting. a definate recommendation. A memorable, great australian film

    I really enjoyed this movie. It was LOUD and that was a bit distracting, but otherwise, it was good.

    A very well cafted film, offers much moe than a standard thriller, shows just how effective people can be when faced with overwhelming pressure.
