funny and light-hearted john wayne comedy. i've seen a comedy with john wayne in it before and it wasn't good at all. however this one is directed by someone else and miles better for it!
Not my favorite John Wayne movie but one of his more funny roles. I am going to rewatch this tonight...after football, unless the Browns are playing. Screw the browns.
Watched this on AMC a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Stars The Duke, Stewart Granger, Fabian and a very lovely lady...Capucine.
This is incredible comedy-adventure as well as John Wayne hangs up his stirrups, puts away his scowl, and reveals himself as an unexpectedly brilliant slapstick comic. This is rather than a typical John Wayne Western, this is a John Wayne Northern.
